The Vampire Diaries’ hunk has been credited with supporting his poorly lover after she was dramatically forced to shelve her world tour last week for hip surgery.
‘I love Taylor. I thought he was going to be too hot to be cool but I was wrong. He is totally awesome. They are there for each other and support each other,’ revealed the star’s best mate Lady Starlight.
After Gaga teased last summer that she had become engaged to Kinney by trying on wedding frocks, Gaga’s pals are convinced he is now the only man for her.
Starlight said: ‘When she has time to be wherever she wants to be she’ll be with him, I have no doubt he’s the one for her.’
The Marry the Night singer has been spending all her free time on Taylor’s set in Chicago when she is not working.
A few months ago the US actor admitted he fell for Gaga because she reminded him of his dentist mum Pam.
‘I do want to give Mom grandchildren, of course,’ the 31-year-old said. “I think I’d be a good dad, it would be a pleasure. I’d love it — and I’m in my 30s now.’ He admitted mum was piling on the pressure for him and the 26-year-old pop star to get a move on. ‘My mum wants me to get married, and have children of course,’ he said. ‘She’s met Gaga, we’ve been dating a while, we’re in a committed relationship and I’m really happy in my relationship. I’m a very lucky guy.’
‘As far as having more of a domestic life and settling down into my relationship we have to see what happens.’
